Premium was bred by Tommie Peterson of Buffalo, MO. He was then sold to Ron and Elaine Nederhoff of Earlham, IA as a calf. We purchased him from Ron and Elaine at the Horn Showcase in November 2003 where he placed 3rd in his class. He is a strongly bred Butler-blend bull that we think will cross well with our Gunman-blend cattle.

With 56 inches at 20 months he should continue to be a tip to tip leader. At 12 months Elaine said he measured 35.5 inches. At 22 months he measured 58.25 inches. At 24 months he measured 60.5 inches! He will be bred pretty heavy in 2004 to take up the slack by the loss of Hocus Pocus. He's gentle and a very efficient breeder. We bred several heifers to him as soon as he arrived.
62.87 inches at 26 months!
64.5 inches at 28.9 months!
On 9/14/04 his first calf arrived...a lineback heifer out of Tryst who is only 19 months old!
65.5 inches at 30 months on 10/1/2004!
67.0 inches at 36 months!
His horns are taking A Lot of SHAPE so his total horn is doing OK also. As of 3/29/05 he's only thrown 3 heifers (5) for us us far...with lots of specks!
At 43 months he has 68.5".

C.B. Blue Chip was bred by Bill Kophman here in Colorado and raised by John and Darlene Nelson here in Colorado. He was selected by Darol Dickinson as Grand Champion bull at the Colorado Select Sale where he was purchased by us. He goes back to Overwhelmer 2 times, Impressive-Quinado-Quintana-WR etc. many times, Bail Jumper once, Classic twice, King-Zhivago once and he's 25% YO! He measures 62.25" at 3.6 years. He has unique credentials: he's big, clean, black and white with black pigment and skin and has a puppy dog gentle personality.

J.R. Rendezvous measured 59.5" at 36 months. He brings us some of the best Butler - blend genetics in a nonbutler, long, tall, colorful body.
We have used him on Gunman daughters for the past two years.

We have a lot of calves by him on the ground and they are great. We used him J.R. Hocus Pocus heavily this spring.
Half interest owned by J.R. and Connie Ford of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
He's on the "leading edge" of horn growth. We love his 2003 calves. At 47 months he measures 68" !!! He may go over 70" in his 4th year. He is very gentle like all Gunman cattle.
He passed away in early 2004!

Like all of our buls he is very gentle...and he is really starting to brindle. He will mature well over 68"!
