Above: The trophy steers were judged in front of the Grand Stand before the rodeo. The audience really enjoyed the steers. Our goal was to get the Longhorn Breed in front on an audience. Eliminator SVR, owned by C.W. & Elly Paulus, is shown above left.
Below Left: Grand Champion Steer "BIG WILLIE", owned by Harlin & Lori Walker, Wall,SD. Big Willie and his owners received $250 and and a pair of custom spurs valued at $500! The Steer competition was sponsored by the Malmsten heirs in memory of their Grandparents who started this show and who owned Pebble Creek Ranch.

The show was judged by Scot O’Bryan, Belvediere, SD. The youth showed their Longhorns at halter in the youth showmanship classes. The spectatures enjoyed seeing the youth work with their animals. The Open Longhorn Show followed the showmanship classes. There was 50 entries.
